Herb Gardens Program a Hit!

On July 29th, Jan Krasilovsky, Master Gardener with Cornell University Cooperative Extension Rockland County Chapter, gave a great presentation on herb gardening. Among attendees, favorite herbs included peppermint, flat parsley, cilantro, and, the most popular, basil. The presentation discussed grades of sun, area climate classifications, frequency of blooms, ways to plant and propagate, and how to store herbs. It's safe to say that all participants learned something, and Jan even sent us home with bouquets of herbs from her prolific herb garden! Thanks to Jan and attendees for making the event a great success!
