Come by and say hello today!

Janet Lukas,

Janet Lukas began her professional career as an Audiologist in 1977. After more than 25 years, she decided to return to the classroom and obtain her MLIS. She has been employed at the Tomkins Cove Public Library since 2000 and has been managing the library since 2005. Janet has been a resident of the North Rockland community for more than 35 years.

Pat Prather,

Pat is a long time resident of Tomkins Cove. However, in his early life he traveled extensively as a member of the military. Family and working as a clerk at our library give him the opportunity to help patrons and interact with all the staff to get the daily work done. Thank you for your support.

Michael  Ruschak,

Mike has lived in Rockland county his whole life, graduating from Nanuet Senior High School in 2014. He received his BFA in Film from the Pratt Institute in 2019. Ask him about Shakespeare, Alan Moore, or Napoleon.

Ann Vitale,

Amy Scherl,

Amy Scherl is a Rockland County native. She has worked at various libraries starting with the library in her elementary school. She was an English major at Syracuse University and continues to have a love for libraries. Amy moved up to Tomkins Cove in 1980.
